Wrist arthroscopy has been used for 20 years as a diagnostic test.
Over the last 15 years, we have seen dramatic developments in its therapeutic application.
Wrist arthroscopy is an important skill for all hand surgeons, exactly in the same way as shoulder and knee arthroscopy is crucial for orthopedic surgeons.
This difficult technique has to be taught using cadavers and specialized instrumentation so that surgeons learn arthroscopic techniques in a stepwise fashion.
